My home country of Egypt is home to more antiquities than we know what we know what to do with. To match the new National Museum in Cairo, Egypt’s second city, Alexandria has decided to put forth a very daring proposal: an underwater museum.
The museum would showcase the underwater treasures found from Cleopatra’s lost Library of Alexandria, which fell after a series of earthquakes. The design incorporates four huge sails, taken from the felaucca, the sail boats that exemplify Egypt’s Nile.
