What Rights Do Men Have in Women’s Fashion?

It has long been seen by American society that that “style” and “fashion” are reserved mainly for women. This is obviously been a stereotype we at Eleven have tried to disprove through the education of the masses. It remains true that men leading design houses like Giorgio Armani, Dolce and Gabbana, John Galliano, and Calvin Klein have all been on the cutting edge of women’s fashion despite their own gender. Does this mean that a fashion sense is inherently male? No. I am here to argue that style is innately human. Men, women, children, and all those that fail to fall into one of those categories alike, are all entitled to expressing their own ideals in clothing.

Here is a fantastic example of one gender designing for another:

Vicktor and Rolf

(watch the video on their homepage… they use the same model, Shalom Harlow, for the entire runway show!)
