Not So Common

Italian sneaker design house Common Projects represent the pen-ultimate in the original gangster sneaker game. Period. Yeah there’s an original gangster price tag, I suppose since they are hand-made, but as soon as I hit OG status I wouldn’t skip a beat. They keep a generally cohesive design language specializing in common shoe styles such as chukkas, desert boots, and other classic silhouettes in leather, patent, nylon and suede. Adding finer details such as top materials, leather linings and suede heel counters. The design is decidedly classic but immediately contemporary and sporting no brand identifiable nomenclature aside from the serial number and size printed in gold leaf on the heel quarter the look is beyond understated. I few looks from their FW 08 release along with some older issues. (Just stopped myself short of posting a picture of every single pair)
