The Tuxedo Coat

This coat is designed by fremont, a design house that I’ll admit I know very little about.

However, what is most interesting about the coat is how it draws upon Tuxedo-style elements to make something formal far more approachable and less stuffy. The double-breasted element is interesting, especially as it takes on the lower-cut end of a double breasted cut which seems to smack of the 80’s.

The coat is $270, which goes to show, that you don’t have to be paying $6,000 for something nice or fashion-forward.

Check it out here.
