Well, we’ve found out that wine helps lower the risk of erectile dysfunction so what’s next? Oh, that’s right, a mix of wine, tea, and dark chocolate can make you smarter…or at least less dumb.
According to an Oxford University study on a bunch of Norweigans, a combination of “between 1 to 3.5 ounces of wine, 10 grams of chocolate and up to 200 milliliters of tea, preferably green, per day had a 41 percent to 53 percent lower risk of performing poorly on cognitive tests than other participants.”
So, I guess technically you’re not going to do better but you have a 50/50 shot of not doing as bad as you thought. That’s worth consuming wine, tea, and dark chocolate every day for a year right? Also, I guess dark chocolate, wine, and tea have something called flavonoids. It sounds like some cheap marketing term for what is in your new Lucky Charms cereal to me but flavonoids are associated with providing a lower risk of dementia. So stock up and stay not-crazy.
