When you think of a suit, you probably don’t pay much attention to what is on the back, unless you’re a huge tool. Vents, however, are something that you should pay attention to, because they affect your suit in its fit, shape, and style in more ways than you might realize.

GQ and Esquire would routinely issue a call for “a return to the Navy blazer!” as if they are the Che’s of the fashion universe. The reality is that the navy blazer will never, has never, and will always look good on anyway, for any occasion.
However, when it comes to actual revamps of the navy blazer, you really don’t have to do too much to make it look great. Honestly, it is just about fit. Make sure it fits right, and you have a great staple.
Enter J. Lindeberg’s navy blazer. Now, it is very traditional, and the only thing that makes it an actual revamp of the Navy Blazer is making use of very well-known elements in a way not usually seen. The peak lapels (those are the pointy lapel you see above) are made to give the navy blazer an edge and honestly, looking at the cut of the jacket, it seems to work very well. Ignore the shirt and tie in the image above, they look terrible with this jacket, but pair it with some color, and you have a great look. At $288, it’s not too bad either.
