Now I am not opposed to a phone made by a designer, take a look at our coverage on the LG & Prada combination for instance.
The phone above is from Christian Dior, who wants to expand their market to include the high-end mobile market that has seen people get interested in having their mobile match their bag.
It costs $5,000, originally targeting the Russian and Chinese markets, it is now coming over to the US and Europe. The only real cool thing is that it comes with a little USB mini me phone to help you pick up calls. The idea is that you won’t have to rummage through your bag, but, if its that small, then why do you need it in the first place?
At least the Prada phone has an innovative method to connect your phone with a watch, but I’m not sure if there is any appeal other than bragging rights.
