Soccer Video of the Day: Nike, Som Un

If you are a fan of Barcelona, or if you want to get oddly pumped up for something, this video will do it. It’s not the sort of thing to get your adrenaline flowing, and make “Down With The Sickness” the soundtrack in your head. It is a sort of quiet confidence, a directed purpose, it is something quintessentially Barca, and their play shows it.

Let’s just hope they can keep it up and put Real Madrid to shame this coming year.

Editors’ Playlist for the Week

This has been a somber few days for music, obviously with the untimely passing of Michael Jackson. While many of us may have been caught up with the controversy surrounding Michael Jackson’s questionable behavior in his later years, the music that he left behind is something that has inspired millions all over this planet.

How should we honor such a man? Mourn him? I would like to think having a smile, and maybe trying a moonwalk while listening to one of songs is the most fitting tribute any of us can offer.

Soccer Video of the Day, Nike: “The Next Level”

This video is a little old, but I have not seen this in its entirety. It is from Nike’s lethal and cutting-edge advertising wing, which has pushed Nike over adidas in the soccer game, which shocks me even to this day.

The coolest part of this video is that it was actually directed by Guy Ritchie making the video ten times better as a result. That’s a scientific calculation.

Trendy Regression

regress

So we all know how trendy it is to regress in technology. Good thing YUBZ is here to fulfill our latest craving. They allow you to talk on the phone the way you should, with a hand-set curved in a banana-like form.

It is also radiation free, and comes with a handy button to accept and hang up phone calls, no more confusing red and green buttons to deal with! Plus, at a low price of $44.95, you can also choose your color and really be an individual. Thanks YUBZ!

Hi everyone.

This week’s addition of the article is going to change slightly. We at Eleven sincerely enjoy us some 1st Amendment. I mean, we eat that shit up. So in order to protect it and still be fair, we’ve decided to change some names and how we present this article to you.

A little late I know but we’re trying, so give us a break.

Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami

If you didn’t know, Louis Vuitton and Anime artist Takashi Murakami have been collaborating on making your super expensive leather goods fanciful with random cartoon characters and objects appear intertwined with the famous LV monogram.

In celebration of their sixth year in partnership, Murakami has produced videos to mark the event. They are full of color and have little-to-no point; except to promote Louis Vuitton.
